Measuring Guide: For Women

Measuring for Ladies

Tips::

It's best to take actual body measurements rather than measuring over clothes or taking sizes from existing garments.

Bust : Measure around the fullest part.
Waist : Measure around your natural waistline.
Hips : Measure the widest part.
Coat length : Measure from the back of the neck.
Dress length : Measure from centre of shoulder.
Skirt length : Measure from natural waistline to the required length.

Trouser length : Measure the inside leg from crotch to the required length.

(We have also included a conversion guide for British, American and European sizing for your information.)

How to Measure Your Bra Size:

Bra Size: Measure round your body directly under your bust A.
When measuring wear a non-padded bra. If the measurement is even, add 4ins. (10cm). If it is odd, add 5 ins. (13cm). This is your Bra size.

Cup Size: Measure your bust at its fullest part B.
The difference between this measurement and your bra size determines your cup size. See diagram below.

Ladies Bra Size Up to 1" (2.5cm) less = AA Cup
No Difference = A Cup
Up to 1" (2.5cm) greater = B Cup
Up to 2" (5cm) greater = C Cup
Up to 3" (8cm) greater = D Cup
Up to 4" (10cm) greater = DD Cup
Up to 5" (12cm) greater = E Cup
Up to 6" (15cm) greater = F Cup
