By Scott Sherwood ( 6 July 2001)

Ohm is an award-winning international photographer and filmmaker from Thailand. A Law School graduate at the age 20, he came to U.S. in 1993 to continue his education. He received his first MA in Communications in 1995 from Iowa. He completed a second MA in Film/Video at Georgia State University in 2000.

Artistically, Ohm is a self-taught artist as well as a poet. He published his first poetry book when he was only 17. To date, he has published three books. At 19, he formed a modeling agency with his friends where he served as a photographer. His work experience has involved being a lawyer, art-director, copy-writer, screenwriter, photographer, and filmmaker.

In 1997, Ohm decided to walk on the photography road and pursue it seriously as a fine-artist. Since then he has established himself as one of the brightest new photographers in the United States. His works were included in more than 40 exhibitions, national and international juried exhibitions in the US and Asia, including Museum of Fine Arts, New Jersey Center for Visual Arts, Barrett Art Center, Fay Gold Gallery, Nexus Contemporary Art Center, and Thai National Museum.
